Epic Adream Center of Daping Elementary School, Wuchuan, Zunyi, Guizhou (¥35,000, 贵州大平中心小学Epic梦想中心). (Leftover put in general fund and supported many students.)
“Adream Center”, is an uniquely designed multimedia classrooms for rural schools. Each Adream Center is equipped with: 3000 books (including 1000 new books and 2000 second-hand books), several colored movable tables and chairs, a number of networked computers, a 55-inch LCD TV or a projector and a 500G mobile hard disk. In Adream Center, the wall is not necessarily white and can be painted with children's imaginative pictures. Classroom desks are not necessarily side by side; instead, they can be arranged in a fairy tale fortress mode. Books and the Internet are available at any time so that children can get together to explore the unknown world if they want to. The podium is in bright color but low enough for children to stand in front of the whole class and give a speech.
In such a modern and vibrant-colored classroom, children can not only open their eyes, but also intrigued in what this classroom has to offer them. With increased curiosity, and psychological effect of warm-colored desks, chairs, and walls, learning in Adream center has become an enjoyable experience. (from adream.org)
With Epic’s funds, an old and empty classroom became a wonder world for kids.
