<center>用画笔放飞梦想，用爱心培养希望
<br><br>
首界休斯顿儿童绘画大赛拉开帷幕</center><br><br>

由海外中国教育基金会（简称OCEF）及张要武艺术中心共同主办的首届休斯顿儿童绘画大赛暨艺术展于2013年7月28日拉开帷幕。本次大赛的主题为“我们快乐的课外活动”，以倡导OCEF之“Open, Caring, Efficient, Fun” 的理念。比赛分幼儿组（4－7），儿童组（8－12）及青少年（13－18）三个年龄组，分设一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖3名及优胜奖（提供奖杯及奖状），由艺术家张要武先生担任总裁判。报名费用将用于OCEF的助学项目，欢迎未成年人积极参与。<br><br>

本次比赛每人限报三件作品。参与者可在OCEF网上（www.ocef.org/ArtContest）或到张要武艺术中心报名，报名费$10／件，报名截至日期为9月15日。报名后，请于9月29日前将参赛作品递交到张要武艺术中心（如希望参加展览，建议用20×24英寸画框妥善保护并装上挂件）。画展将于9月30日至11月3日之间进行，颁奖典礼将于10月20日举行，具体时间及地点另行通知。比赛结束后，OCEF期望能将作品拍摄、编辑成册或制作成CD，作为您给宝贝准备的独特的节日礼物。<br><br>

作为一个成立了20余年、口碑良好的公益助学组织，OCEF希望奉献爱心、服务社会的同时，参与者能培养自己的领导力、价值观及责任感。OCEF鼓励孩子们追求优秀，培养高尚，为所在社区提供更多正能量。我们期望：To promote education and friendship through OCEF Houston Chapter; to empower stewardship by the application of professional skills; and to foster leadership by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity.<br><br>
